Re: About S3_0 branching

I am indeed regenerating the msgids everytime, but I am pretty sure I am missing something (for example, ai/default/daidiplomacy.c does not appear in my po-file).

I took a look at the instructions at Wikia, and couldn't find how to generate a correct fr.po file. Here are the steps I am following :

-> make distclean
-> ./autogen.sh --enable-client=gtk2,gtk3
-> make
-> pushd translations/freeciv
-> make freeciv.pot             # already done, but just in case...
-> /bin/msgmerge --update --previous --quiet --lang=fr fr.po freeciv.pot
-> msgfmt --statistics -c -v -o /dev/null fr.po
-> popd
/* Repeat for 2 other subdirs */
Could you please explain what I am missing or doing wrong ?

 I think you are testing only internal completeness of the po-files in
svn. That is; every msgid in the po-file has proper msgstr
(translation). I did update of the msgids (collected latest
translatable strings) before taking my statistics.

 You can see the files in

for those updated msgids.
