Re: About S3_0 branching

- I expected the "make" command (third line), being recursive, to also make freeciv.pot. I also expected a "make distclean" to remove the pot files, which is not the case.

- Indeed, you were right : my pot-files were not remade (because of lacking dependencies ?)

- I simply solved the problem by deleting the .pot file before making it (even though a "make -B" would probably be cleaner...)

Now, with a correct pot file, I have some work to do :-)

-> /bin/msgmerge --update --previous --quiet --lang=fr fr.po freeciv.pot
-> msgfmt --statistics -c -v -o /dev/null fr.po
-> popd
/* Repeat for 2 other subdirs */

Could you please explain what I am missing or doing wrong ?

svn. That is; every msgid in the po-file has proper msgstr
(translation). I did update of the msgids (collected latest
translatable strings) before taking my statistics.

 You can see the files in
http://download.gna.org/freeciv/packages/windows/testing/cazfi/translations/
for those updated msgids.
