3.0.4

 It seems to me that we should still continue the "release every two
months" -rate with S3_0, considering the number of fixes steadily
going in. As 3.0.3 was released on August 5th, the closest Friday to
two months after that is October 7th. So that's the preliminary target
date for the 3.0.4 release.

 As for the things I hoped to concentrate on after S3_1-alpha4 - I
hadn't realized in advance that once alpha4 was out, 3.0.4 was already
getting somewhat close and requiring attention. Still, almost all
fronts are advancing, some just not with the speed I had hoped for.
