First of all, thank you, Larry, for maintaining the fun and the binding us
gamers together with these awards.

I did not vote for any of the winners (becoming a trend) and I'm starting
to wonder if it's too difficult to play a sufficient number of the nominees
now.  I know I can't get to half of them.  A discussion on reprints may
also be warranted.  I consciously did not push any reprints or expansions.
Obviously, others don't agree.  I really like Brass, but I refused to vote
for Birmingham.  Same with Concordia.  I think there were a lot of games I
excluded this way.  I hope I don't sound bitter because I'm not and I enjoy
being surprised.  But my concerns are starting to become more pronounced
each year.
