I kind of think revised versions shouldn't be considered, unless it is just
a huge change (like how Power Grid dispensed with the line drawing of
original Funkenschlag).  The purpose of the award is to help people find
new and worthy games, and I imagine people who have played the older
Concordia or Brass probably pretty much know what to expect with the new
ones.  (I haven't played the new ones so I might be wrong.)
