Sounds good to me.  By the same token, perhaps lowering the default curb
frictions in data/tracks/surfaces.xml to 1.2 would be a good improvement
too?  1.4 is a lot higher than most track surfaces & causes cars to get
badly hung up on the curbs (especially inner-corner ones).  For some tracks
that may make sense, but it'd be better to have a more driver-friendly value
as the default wouldn't it?
