Hello,

I run torcs-1.3.1-3.fc12.x86_64 under Fedora 14. Apologies if this
doesn't apply in a more recent version.

I have 2 suggestions to improve TORCS.

1. Add a tick box in the Configure Race page to allow racing the
circuits backwards. This would effectively double the number of
circuits available. I do appreciate that the circuits are most likely
designed to work in one direction, but it still could provide more
variety.

2. Add a "ghost car" for practising against. I would love to be able
to watch my lines round a circuit, and try and eke out a few tenths.
2a. Bonus if it would be possible to set a start point so that you
could reset back to approaching the corner at high speed. You could
practice one corner over and over again, and once you had passed the
corner, you could press some key combo, and reset back to the previous
point.
