Running under Mac OSX

Hello, I have tried downloading TORCS for Mac OSX, on my Mac Book Pro, running Mac OSX 10.8.4, twice now, but after attempting to install, double-clicking the TORCS icon does nothing at all! Am I doing something really obvious wrong? Is it to do with my version of OSX? I have no idea.
