Torcs run error

Dear Sir,

I have finished the 'make install' step, gave permissions, and set the environment for torcs-1.2.4 (as specified in your guide)
But when I execute 'torcs', it says:

"The program 'torcs' is currently not installed.  To run 'torcs' please ask your administrator to install the package 'torcs'"

How do I run Torcs?
