We started renaming some of the drivers and created new skins for the cars to make it even a bit more realistic and spend whole nights playing this game... It was amazing.</div> <div> </div> <div>I recently found an old copy of torcs again on my hard drive and gave it another shot. I still really liked the game, but unfortunately lost all the custom skins, so i started creating new ones. ^^ I also found out about the trackeditor for the first time, and wanted to see if i could manage to create my own race track. I installed the latestet java version on my Windows 10 Desktop, started the trackeditor.bat, followed the instructions given in the short html-manual and build myself a small oval race track. When i was finished all the necessary files seemed to be in the created folder and the track appeared in the "Select Track"-Screen ingame, but when i started a quick race with some bots i only saw the cars and the generic background image. No other track textures wh ere loaded.</div> <div> </div> <div>I thought that this might have only happened because i used Windows 10, so i reinstalled torcs from source under elementary OS (based on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS) downloaded the trackeditor and created the same track with trackgen, but ran into the same issue. There was no obvious error message shown in the linux terminal or Windows cmd after creating the track with trackgen nor after loading the track in torcs itself.</div> <div> </div> <div>I tried to search on all the forums i could find, but coudnt find any solution for my problem. I was hoping that maybe someone in this mailinglist could help me. Thanks in advance for your help and for spending your time and reading this message that far. ;)</div> <div> </div> <div>Best regards</div> <div>Sebastian Krönert</div></div></body></html> --===============7830305219813186669== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline --===============7830305219813186669== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Torcs-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/torcs-users --===============7830305219813186669==--
