Right. But IMO this would only be needed in some very special cases. But
in fact, TTD´s sorter has serious disadvantages even with simple
placement of boxes.

I.e., I remember that it had been completely impossible to have a
catenary wire "inside" a box-shaped shed without being the despair of
that sorter. :)

Although principally possible, it´s impossible to have more than one of
such boxes put together: there´s always at least one box which would
show a "glitch".

Possibly, an action scheme for bridges could be a clean solution for this?
