First let me say that I think all of the new graphics and features are wicked awesome! They have definitely rekindled my interest in the game. I was test driving the Alpha 73 version yesterday when I came across a couple of issues: 1. This may be an ID-10-T error but how do I build trams? Is there a certain year they become available even though the ability to build tram tracks exists from the beginning (1930)? 2. I created a road depot next to a road that I put tram tracks on. I couldn't figure out how to build a tram so I took the tram track tool bar and selected the tram track that would 'go into' the road depot. I click the track selection on/in the road depot. It gave me a negative 4.292 billion construction cost in my money spreadsheet but did not affect my dollar total for the game (shown in the lower right corner of the screen). This seems to be a problem that needs to be fixed. 3. Another ID-10-T error: how do --I-- use/create the new stations? I see my competition is using the cool new grain mills, lumber yards, etc as stations but I can't figure out how I get to create my own grain mill. 4. I like the ability to have the higher-than-one-level bridges. But I couldn't build a simple little one level concrete bridge perpendicular below a suspension bridge that was 5 levels tall. Will a future patch have the ability to have one bridge go under another perpendicularly? Thanks to all who have spent so much of their free time updating this classic game. Bill PS. I love the message under the Stock Exchanges when buildings are set to transparent. Too funny! -- TTDPatch mailing list.
