At the moment, I´m testing it (quite cautiously, after reading your warning) and up to 
now, it´s working flawlessly (*unberufen!*).
I like this switch very much, especially when combining railways and buses / trams - in 
Reality they´re usually owned by different companies as well, so why not add a trifle bit 
realistic touch? ;-)

Would it be possible to extend this switch to other types of transport? To be honest, 
it´s mainly tram networks that cross my mind...
