Right now the current API draft has expired due to inactivity.      A copy of it can be found here:

I think some folks have been interested in this work, but no one has updated the draft in some time.  It was
a working group draft, but has expired due to inactivity.  It can be implemented freely.

Hi All,

I saw a reference in the Mailing archives to the I-D, draft-ietf-aaa-diameter-api-04, but I don't see it in the I-D search. Nor do I see it in the list of I-Ds produced by the working group. Is this supposed to be on these lists, and it just hasn't made it yet. Or, is this just a private draft that hasn't been worked on through the working group?

Also, is this draft proprietary, or may it be implemented (copied) by anyone without infringing on any copyright or license agreement?
