Hi! > Can we please try to identify technical problems that prevent this > Diameter SIP application to be deployed, as opposed from "I > don't like the current way of doing things although it works"? It depends on what is the goal of the work. Do we want to produce whatever works or do we want it to be well designed as well? I simply find it hard to understand why inserting, sending, and processing redundant information in a protocol message is good protocol design. It would be possible to avoid this by editing the spec as requested in the issue.
