: Diameter API question: AAAEndSession()

Hi all,

 reading the API draft (draft-ietf-aaa-diameter-api-04.txt), I have a
 doubt concerning the AAAEndSession() function. 

 I'm wondering if the library should send a STR message or just free
 internal state for the session.

 I guess it's implementation dependent but i was wondering if people had
 opinion on this.
