Why?  I don't run a public DNSBL, so I can't answer that.  My gut-feeling
guess would be that it was ideal due to the guarantee that it never really
exists as a usable domain.

There were a couple of times in the past where I found that "example.tld"
was a test entry.

By my current count, based on checking ones I use and the ones listed on
Declude's DNSBL list:

- rhsbl.ahbl.org

- abuse.rfc-ignorant.org
- dsn.rfc-ignorant.org (but partly because it really is listable there ;)
- postmaster.rfc-ignorant.org

- blackhole.securitysage.com

- rhsbl.sorbs.net

- cart00ney.surriel.com
