There hasn't been much activity on this list and I'm not sure who's here, but participants will likely be interested in the fact that there will be a BoF session on Message Authentication Signature Standards (MASS). The intent of the BoF is to work toward formation of a Working Group to address signature-based approaches to fraudulent email (of which most spam is a subset) such as DomainKeys, Identified Internet Mail, E-mail Postmarks, and MTA Signatures (not intended to be a complete list).

The BoF is currently scheduled for Thursday morning, but I have been asked to caution everyone that the schedule is still tentative. MARID and the ASRG meeting are scheduled (tentatively) for Wednesday. I'm hoping for an active, but orderly discussion.

John Levine has suggested that this list might be used as the BOF/WG mailing list. That would necessitate it being changed to an open mailing list, and I'm not sure if the ASRG subgroup might like to have discussions of its own. We can easily host the list elsewhere if that's appropriate. How do the members of this list feel?
