Where implementation is concerned, I would like to point out that SPF
has between 500 and 1000 domains already configured to publish records,
an active developer community of about 130 people on the mailing list, a
mature library in CPAN, expressions of interest by SpamAssassin,
MailArmory, and ActiveState's PureMessage, and patches or support in
qmail, exim, sendmail and postfix.

A couple days ago I spoke with a senior security guy at AOL and he has
agreed to pitch SPF to the mail team.

I suggest we leverage SPF's existing "market penetration" when we
produce a unified proposal.
