No thoughts on whether the TC should exist or no.

But if it does, then keep the name simple, don't overload the name, the
identifier, with a description of the semantics

ie VlanIdentifier VlanIds VlanId2 .. good
VlanIdOrNone VlanIdOrNoneOrAny VlanIdAssociation   .. bad
