I think they could be convinced, (but I am not currently actve in GGF)
The ability to store a delegted cred is very important, and gss_export_cred 
is the ONE extension that I implemented in Kerberos for use with the Grid 
applications. I have it for krb5-1.3.2 if anyone is intersted. 
(There is also user-to-user but that is another topic.)
