This is certainly going to be a something for the IETF to solve, but from our perspective, we would like the humans to speak to humans even if the messages are flawed and not in the impeccable English. This is preferable to AI-generated or AI-assisted messages to the mailing list. The publishing houses like Elsevier now require AI-assistance disclosure and what type of assistance was provided by the Large Language Models, and I am quite confident that we will have to come up with a similar policy, but so far we don't have one. Personally, I think it is reasonable to require to disclose the usage of any tools that had been used to prepare materials submitted to IETF.
