Section 1.1. placement was Re: Agenda Reqeusts

Hi,

Thanks for reviewing the changes

As for section 1.1 I am open to moving it.  It is just that it seemed  
to me that having all notation explained in one place, up front, made  
the most sense.  the question i ask myself is: if someone is looking  
at the second instance where the notation is being used, are they  
most likely to go back to the previous example if they have a  
question, or will they naturally for to either the beginning or to  
the end of the document.

Does anyone else care?
