> spelling and grammar errors ... be kind Me, from here, I was not able to connect to ftp.wu-ftp.org. But http://www.google.com/search?q=wu-ftp suggested instead I substitute for ftpd for ftp e.g.: ftp://ftp.wu-ftpd.org/private/lundberg/ And there indeed I did find: -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 47272 May 14 15:48 draft-ftpext-data-connection-assurance-00.nroff -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 55314 May 14 15:48 draft-ftpext-data-connection-assurance-00.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 48753 May 20 18:51 draft-ftpext-ftp-control-transport-mechanisms-00.nroff -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 57250 May 20 18:51 draft-ftpext-ftp-control-transport-mechanisms-00.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 18425 May 14 20:34 draft-ftpext-utf-8-option-00.nroff -rw-r--r-- 1 wuftpd wuftpd 21912 May 14 20:34 draft-ftpext-utf-8-option-00.txt I trust this was a correct emendation ... Thanks again, Pat LaVarre -----Original Message----- From: Gregory A Lundberg [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Mon 5/20/2002 1:49 PM To: FTPEXT Working Group Cc: Subject: Ftp-WG: Telnet end-of-line OK. Two votes to look at it is enough for me to state the URL publicly: ftp://ftp.wu-ftp.org/private/lundberg/ There are three documents there. All are in both nroff and txt format. You're welcome to look at, and comment about, all of them. The first one here is the one I was referring to in my email. draft-ftpext-ftp-control-transport-mechanisms-00.nroff draft-ftpext-ftp-control-transport-mechanisms-00.txt This is a best-current-practice (BCP) I-D. It is incomplete, has numerous spelling and grammar errors (so be kind, I'll get to those). It is generally complete when it comes to what a MINIMAL implementation must do. I intend to continue it with what an implementation MAY do when presented with certain issues. Examples of subjects not covered so far: Telnet GoAhead, and Telnet AbortOutput. Both have a place in the FTP, at least in certain implementations. A reference to the problem of Telnet option negotiation is made. The discussion needs to cover the Telnet Suppress-GoAhead option, even if nothing else is covered. The implied recommendations of RFC 1123 can lead to negotiation loops for this option. draft-ftpext-utf-8-option-00.nroff draft-ftpext-utf-8-option-00.txt This is a standard-track form I-D. It is generally complete, but probably needs some work. It assumes some of the ideas presented in the above I-D, but should stand alone. It was developed at the same time, but is more complete because of a much more narrow scope. Since this is generally complete, I sent it off to the I-D editor on the 14th, but have not heard back and it's not in the repository. draft-ftpext-data-connection-assurance-00.nroff draft-ftpext-data-connection-assurance-00.txt This is a standard-track form I-D. It is substatially complete. I mailed it off to the I-D editor on the 14th, but have not heard back and it's not in the repository yet. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
