On humanly-readable (printable) e-mail addresses

And for the avoidance of doubt (lest people run away screaming when
they they hear the phrase 'cut and paste' :-), might I add the
following additional footnote:

[*] I'm taking for granted the fact that cut-and-paste works.  I'm am
most definitely not interested in *how* cut-and-paste works, as this
is clearly outside the scope of the current discussion.
