Re: RPR protection with MPLS

RPR protection switching provides a mechanism
similar to MPLS's FastReRoute detour paths
for failure recovery.

There's no reason to enable this on RPR rings
since RPR protection will steer/wrap away from
faults at L2 within 50ms.

Now, in terms of MPLS end-to-end path re-optimization
during fault detection, the ring will remain a
viable path regardless of any faults that occur
within the ring.
