I would guess that they have also protected the name "Statoil" and this
would be the name most people are familiar with.  Hence it would be a good
name for use in the Directory.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear.  I am not stuck on using the legal
name of companies if the general public uses a different form.  After all,
Common Name simply means the name commonly used.  The domain name is not
necessarily commonly used, except by people like you and me.

Using the host name is somewhat akin to using a PSAP address, IMHO.
