Thanks for the feedback. While “DLEP interface” would describe the entities on the local node, the term I’m looking for would be some shortened form of “All DLEP interfaces of all nodes which could potentially be aware of each other via Destination indications” or similar to that.

 

The reason for needing this term, or some short form of that statement, is that a single node can participate in multiple independent ‘DLEP things’ and each one of those things can have a different set of participating nodes. In the absence of any better option, lifting the RFC 8175 term “layer 2 domain” will work and be consistent for my needs.

I don't agree with you..... using DLEP domain is only for shared medium domain, as sharing radio,

but there maybe some modems with different radios.

I think the RFC8175 does not mention the domain as a term to be used for DLEP.

 

 

The overall idea being that some DLEP router is a participant in several DLEP domains, each operating separately from each other so the modems don’t have cross-domain visibility but the router is aware of all of them together.

 

I think the term you need to use is : DLEP interface
