Juliusz and Donald, thank you for adding this perspective. The intended application is for autoconfiguration and Internetworking for MANETs that may occasionally come in contact with an Internet access point. For example, a disaster relief mission of ground nodes with omni-directional radios that may occasionally be over-flown by an aerial asset that has the equivalent of a 5G GnodeB on-board. Another example is if one or more of the ground nodes has a Starlink radio in addition to its MANET radios. But, applications aside, this seems like it might bear further discussion. Donlad, is there a chance we could have an agenda slot for this at the next IETF?
