Hi, My main issue with the Broadcast idea is that someone might want to change the parameters of broadcast transmissions, e.g. increasing the bitrate (quite common in some WIFI based MANET installations). Still, a full extension for "Request Session Characteristics" would be quite a bit of work. Not sure anyone has implemented the Request Link Characteristic mechanics yet.
