We've collected the feedback and made a PR [1] with the changes.

First occurrence is fixed here, second is already being fixed in Éric's review [2].

I simplified the sentence trying to maintain the meaning.

I think that's a leftover from us non-native speakers :)
I just removed the "in order" and it should be fine.
