Well Mark, that wasn't much of an off-list.  I won't take offense, however.  Yes, I do work for 1221.  I've been there for 18 months, and am not familiar with your reference to 1/8 for Telstra.  The only knowledge I have of 1/8 at 1221 is that we just got a chunk of it from APNIC in our latest assignment.  Not sure what you are referring to about "announcing" 1/8 to 1221 for monitoring purposes, was this when Geoff was there?  We have been making similar requests for a while.
