One of our larger registrars did request the feature. 

The only reason why I wouldn't use the svTRID is from a referencing perspective. Our queued messages are all in response to a single clTRID so it makes it very easy to reference any related unacked responses. 

Our system doesn't allow for duplicated clTRIDs, it will either be rejected or uniquified (with the unique value being returned) based on policy.
