I'd like to add something to that. We've been talking to a ccTLD registry who
are contemplating moving from their own proprietary protocol to EPP. One thing
they'll need to do that is a ticket object mapping for managing pending domain
applications and attaching documentation to those applications programmatically.

It's early days, and thus a long-finger project currently, but it seems like the
kind of thing that ought to be of general use, but of especial use to ccTLDs and
sponsored gTLDs.

This is currently being worked on, though I haven't been able to get as much
time to write up the initial I-D as I'd like.

I think the consensus back when this was discussed was that it ought to be kept
more-or-less independent of EPP.
