Your description of the status quo is consistent with mine. That only means that the status quo is suboptimal to address a specific market need. If you look at Jay's example, it's clear that 2 out of 3 examples show an explicit relationship between the registrant and the registry. In the .nl case it's not clear whether such relationship exists or not.
