There's no way to get a single CTL into any valid ABNF, even
an isolated CR or LF is impossible, the only exception is CRLF.

What you locally do is strictly your business and no problem,
as long as it has the same effect as CRLF on a line printer.

It could be written without defining CR or LF at all.  Maybe
Dave tries this for the future "full standard" incarnation.
