Besides the semantic wrongness of this approach and the confusion between envelope and header addresses, it has the severe practical problem that the address of the actual author of the message no long appears in a header, so there's no way to reply to her. Before anyone suggests "fixing" this with reply-to, please review the past 15 years or so of flamage about mailing lists and reply-to.
