NASR met on Tuesday Mar 18, 2025 for the 2nd time as a working group forming BoF.

There were presentations on the use cases, problem statement, proposed architecture, and charter text.
Much discussion ensued from clarifying questions to use case, requirements and architecture viability, to raising challenges and concerns to its viability (scalability and performance on the proof of transit) on whether the work was better suited elsewhere.

The polls in the end resulted in the lack of consensus, with the AD encouraging the proponents to explore addressing the concerns and comments raised in this BoF to further the work potentially in RATs or determine if there are other existing working groups like PANRG could also adopt some of the proposed work. The polls results (Yes/No/No opinion):

  *   Is the problem understood? 58 / 37 / 5
  *   Is the problem tractable? 47 / 52 / 10
  *   Is IETF right venue to solve the pb? 84 / 11 / 6
  * Do you believe we should create a new WG to address the pb? 55 / 45 / 7
  * Do you agree with the current proposed charter to form NASR as a WG? 34 / 57 / 14
