I always use relative URLs for my internal links. One reason I do this is so that I can maintain a copy of my site (or part thereof) on my workstation for development purposes and then upload it to the server. If URNs can only be absolute, then this methodology doesn't work. If there are no relative URNs, many (most?) people will not use URNs because they will be unable to develop web sites off-line (meaning off the production server, not disconnected). --- [email protected] / http://www.wnetc.com/home.html If you're going to reinvent the wheel, at least try to come to come up with a better one.
