Some questions

I'm at a meeting of the International Press Telecommunications 
Council (IPTC).  We want to use vCard to embed people's details 
in NewsML and, like lots of others, have found that there seems 
to be no standard way of representing vCard in XML.  In addition 
to the expired Internet Drafts, we've found:

   Representing vCard Objects in RDF/XML
   http://www.w3.org/TR/vcard-rdf

and:

   JEP-0054: vcard-temp
   http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0054.html

One of the differences is in the use of case, eg "Family" vs 
"FAMILY".  What are others doing re case?

Another question concerns extensions, eg for IM.  Are people 
adding IM addresses to vCards?  If so, how?
