This idea became as part of a reflection on what the hell do we want.
Little by little there are steps being taken that would allow us to
write our own treaty (no, nothing soon - but my target is a decade and I
believe we can do it earlier than that).

So, I don't want to think about existing treaties. My basic assumptions
are something like:

 - Copyright is needed and is a good thing as long as applied only to
"intellectual creators" (this expression comes from the portuguese
copyright legislation).
 - Technology discarded the need of huge corporations to assure
distribution. People can do it better. This should be promoted, not
prohibited.
 - Intellectual creators aren't receiving the profit of the economy
exploration of their works (like copyright was supposed to insure).
 - Non commercial distribution has value on itself, usually the same
that advertising.
