You'll always have poorly informed artists. And the level of information
isn't in any way related to talent. The system, as is, depends on
artists signing away their rights before understanding what they're
doing. This is done by having all recording and duplication companies
require a transfer of copyright.

The big record companies depend on controlling the source of cultural
goods.
