Reg article: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/08/25/review_cds-300_7/ Ignoramus' coarse summary: Macrovision. Uses new "Blue book" standard for multi-session CDs. On MS XP, you can only access the WMP session and it's DRM'd so you can't make copies, except subject to their limitations. On Mac, both the raw audio and a DRM'd session (for which they provide a player) are accessible; the former can be copied; speculate on possible future deal between Apple and Macrovision to use Apple-native DRM and close down the raw audio. Not tested on Linux (Reg had no penguins in-house). Doubtless Jim or others with better knowledge of the subject will report more cogently at a later date ... Eddy.
