Yes, it was a mixed week=2E First the Euro parliament rejects software=
 patents
(hooray!), then we get the Olympics (hooray!), and then London gets bombed=
=2E

Your concerns are appreciated, but personally I tend not to worry about
individuals considering how vanishingly small the chance is that anyone I
know would be involved=2E

While any death is tragic, the number involved is statistically
insignificant=2E It represents approximately 6 weeks worth of road traffic
deaths in a populaton the size of London, and less than one week nationally=
=2E
The delays caused to the underground and rail network are similarly not
unprecedented=2E I think it is important not to overstate the impact that=
 this
terrorist attack has made - the lives of what appear now to have been
suicide bombers were not well spent=2E
