possible permanent injury of many others.

So it inconvenienced your road travel?

I was actually relieved to read, now I live overseas, that none of my 
friends were among the named dead, as I had been unable to contact them.

I dont care whether my condolences were appreciated by you. I care about 
whether anyone I know was injured - which I dont as yet know - and my 
condolences are extended to them and / or friends and family. I hope you 
can look beyond yourself to see this.
