Yes, 2.4.22 unpatched with ACPI patches. And yes, A22 fixed battery monitoring 
in compare with 2.4.20.SuSE + A06 combination. One user on mentioned page 
(http://acpi.sourceforge.net/dsdt/view.php?id=63) reported 2.4.22+A22 
combination solved almost everything (including processor performance 
control). What's your instalation like? Do you have something more of ACPI 
working?
