[ACPI-sppt] ThinkPad R32 overheat problem (I guess)

Hi,

I am using a ThinkPad R32 with a 2 Ghz Pentium 4. I installed kernel
2.4.21* with corresponding acpi patches. Using gentoo linux, I need to
compile large programs like XFree, etc. My problem is, that the Fan goes
on two times, then keeps at slow speed and finally, the thinkpad just
powers off. I think its a heat poweroff. The thermalzone says its at
about 65-70C then ( i can only say the value some time before as is
really goes down to fast to have a look;)

Has anyone similar experiences or a solution or anything for me to
figure out? Or is this a hardware defect (as it does not happen using
windows, but i cannot stress test it like that;).

Stephan
