[ACPI-sppt] can someone please address lock up issue with rc acpi patches?

I don't think I've ever gotten a reply from this, but i have compaq 
2100(2110) and the pre6 works ok, but rc1, rc2,rc3 all cause locks on boot.

now i'm using 2.4.21 final with pre6 patch.
