[ACPI-sppt] Dell Latitude D600 + acpi

Hello there

I am trying to enable acpi on my Latitude D600 machine, running 
slackware-current with kernel 2.4.21.
acpi-20030619-2.4.21.diff.gz was applied successfully to the kernel source 
tree but I have no idea where to put Dell-Latitude_D600-A03-custom.asl and 
how to make sure the kernel is using this table instead of the one that 
comes with the kernel.

I have read the howtos, maybe I am an idiot but I couldn't figure out how 
to do that... :)

Any help will be much appreciated.
