1) The Sharp MV12W uses an Intel PIII, not a Crusoe 2) I got a sane entry under /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/performance when I applied the 2.4.21 patches from acpi.sf.net. It just stopped working with the acpi that came in 2.4.22-pre2.
